Joan and Darrell Huffman commissioned this painting of the Muriwai Gannet Colony. I took a trip out to the site with Darrell and took some shots. Well worth a visit.
I recently completed this painting for Christine and Antony at Eden Villa. It features five birds in a bush setting near Te Aroha – a small town in the North Island. It’s painted on ply board and sealed with shellac.
This painting was a surprise Christmas present for the owner of this beautiful bach up at Omaha. The Maori totem in front of the property made for an interesting feature.
Friends of ours asked me to do a painting of their lovely little Waiheke bach. I liked the way it was nestled in below the hill surrounded by great vegetation.
This painting features a little butchers shed on a farm west of Auckland. The old shed was slowly falling apart and the owners were keen to have a permanent reminder of it.
